Purpose of the processing of personal data.
When registering or placing an order at this website, you will be asked to enter some personal data. We need this personal information to ensure that our web shop functions quickly and correctly, to process your order, to conduct correspondence with you. We use the data to supply you with the goods and services which you requested. This personal data allows us to obey your order, especially your order to Baby & Co to continually improve the website and the services/products which are offered to you and to adjust them to your needs. In this respect, we reserve the right to use your information for marketing research and satisfaction surveys, or for the development of services/products, possibly by appealing to subcontractors.
Birth list and orders
The future parents are requested to give us their name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, expected date of birth of the baby, in order to accomplish a quick and efficient delivery of the order, answer questions if necessary, send mails....
The supporters are asked for their name (in our store) and (online) their address, telephone number, e-mail address. If the supporter asks for an invoice, name of the company, address, and VAT number are required. This information will be notified to the parents, which will enable them to thank the supporter(s). The supporter(s) will receive a mail with useful information about payment procedures. You can pay in our store or make use of a bank transfer. It's also possible to pay with Multisafepay (a certified payment system), which means that all personal information is filed with guaranteed safety.
Webshop
For your personal comfort, we need all information that is essential for a continual contact while processing your order. Your address and e-mail will be filed automatically. If necessary, we'll pass your data to third persons (the transporter e.g.). It goes without saying that we demand them to prove extreme caution and vigilance when it comes to respecting the personal data of the client. Processing of the personal data and those who have access to the processed data
The supplied data will be stored in Baby & Co's files. The data will only be processed to the extent that its processing is necessary for the execution of the agreement.
We can combine the information we have collected from you with information we acquired from other sources. This allows us to improve the general precision and completeness of the information and to tune our correspondence we conduct with you to your needs.
We can also collect information regarding your use of our websites. We use various techniques for this, including cookies.
Your rights regarding the data we collected
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, modify and delete data which concerns you. You also have the right to object to its processing within the constraints of the law. You have the right to transfer your data to a third party.
You can do so by sending an email to info@babyco.be or a letter to Baby & Co, Katia Vermeire Quellinstraat 48-50, 2018 Antwerp with prove of identity (copy of passport). We wil make the changes in the legal term of 4 weeks.
The withdrawal of the approval shall not affect the legality of our data privacy statement on the basis of your consent which took place before the withdrawal.
